Project Manager - Healthcare - Remote

Responsibilities include managing client software implementations from start to finish, working closely with internal teams (Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, Leadership), and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a detail-oriented, flexible individual with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, especially in a technical environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
• Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor during implementation.
• Define projects, execute tasks, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
• Develop and deliver training sessions.
• Gather complete and accurate business requirements as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate across teams and collaborate with Product Management to deliver optimal solutions.
• Present project updates to executive leadership.
• Ensure documentation reflects client needs, including business requirements, user stories, wireframes, and test plans.
• Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
• Coordinate effort estimations, plan milestones, and prioritize tasks.
• Coordinate training for team members.

Requirements

• Deep technical skills including understanding of sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, integrations, and HTML.
• Experience with SaaS or enterprise software implementations.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or related industries.
• Experience consulting for external clients.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, strong data and business analysis skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years managing complex software projects, with client-facing experience.
• Agile experience and industry-specific knowledge preferred.
