Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager - Grid Components in the United States to drive complex initiatives across the Grid Components Business Unit. You will own the full project lifecycle from quote handoff to closeout, coordinating engineers, contractors, and customers to deliver on time, within scope, and to the required quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, contract oversight, and risk management with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management best practices; MS Project proficiency.
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and contracts.
  • PMP certification preferred; willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.

As a Project Manager - Grid Components, you will lead complex, high-impact initiatives within the Grid Components Business Unit, playing a central role in delivering projects that support reliable and efficient energy systems.
