Job summary

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a Project Manager to lead one or more task orders, provide administrative and management support, and coordinate with customer representatives to ensure alignment with the statement of work.

The role requires a Bachelor's or an Associate degree with related progressive leadership experience and offers opportunities to shape project performance, schedules, and financial reporting within a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of progressive project leadership and management experience.
• Associate's degree and five years of progressive project leadership and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Manager for a task order or group of task orders.
• Assist company management in working with the customer's representative, management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
• Provide operating advice and assistance to the customer on administrative and management issues.
• Manage assigned task order(s) under the guidance of company management.
• Ensure technical solutions and task order schedules are implemented in a timely manner using benchmarking and program metrics.
• Coordinate task schedules and activities to ensure that solutions developed or implemented are consistent with customer objectives and the statement of work.
• Monitor task order performance and support timely identification and resolution of administrative, management, schedule, and implementation issues.
• Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the statement of work.
• Adhere to financial obligations established at contract award through financial reporting and analysis.
• Provide status, performance, schedule, and financial information to company management and customer stakeholders as required.
