Job description

We are looking to add a Glazing Project Manager to our team who can support the coordination and delivery of commercial glass and aluminum installation projects. This position plays a central role in keeping jobs organized, moving forward, and aligned between office operations, field crews, and customers.

This is a hands-on coordination role in a fast-moving construction environment where accuracy, communication, and planning are essential.

What This Role Involves

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting projects through each stage — from early planning through final installation and completion. Your day-to-day work will include managing details, tracking progress, and helping ensure all parts of a job come together smoothly.

Core Duties
Project Coordination
  • Oversee multiple active Glass Install projects at various stages
  • Build and maintain schedules for fabrication and installation
  • Track progress and help identify delays or conflicts early
  • Keep internal teams and customers informed of job status
Communication & Meetings
  • Serve as a point of contact between customers, contractors, architects, and field staff
  • Participate in job meetings and project discussions
  • Communicate updates, changes, and required decisions in a timely manner
  • Help resolve project issues as they arise
Planning & Documentation
  • Review architectural drawings and project specifications
  • Assist with takeoffs and estimating support when needed
  • Prepare and process submittals, shop drawings, and project paperwork
  • Coordinate material ordering and fabrication timelines
  • Confirm field information provided by installation teams
Project Support & Improvement
  • Help streamline internal workflows and project tracking systems
  • Participate in training related to products and construction methods
  • Support continuous improvement in communication and scheduling processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience in construction, project coordination, or related field (5+ years preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and jobsite processes
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communication skills with both office and field teams
  • Experience with construction software (Buildertrend, AutoCAD, Glazier tools) is helpful but not required

Candidates with strong initiative and a willingness to learn may be considered

  • This is an in-person office role with regular interaction with field teams and job sites as needed. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where communication and teamwork are essential to successful project delivery.
