Job summary

Metro Engineering Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to lead complex utility projects from initiation through closeout. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure scope, schedule, and budget targets are met.

This role is onsite in Flint three days per week with remote work possible otherwise. The ideal candidate will drive planning, execution, budgeting, and risk management while mentoring coordinators and field staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management and utility experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or General Business.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project management: planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project execution
• Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and risks
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Prepare status reports, forecasts, and presentations for clients and leadership

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure that scope, schedule, and budget expectations are met or exceeded. This position requires working onsite in our Flint office three days per week, with the remaining days eligible for remote work.
