As a Project Manager, you will:
  • + Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction
  • + Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps
  • + Guide technical or administrative staff
  • + Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs
  • + Contribute to continuous improvement plan
  • + Perform active role in maintaining functionally focused client relationships
  • + Be responsible for several small projects
  • + Review project specifications, drawings and project-specific documents to establish project intent
  • + Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs
  • + Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
  • + Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews
  • + Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors
  • + Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
  • + Track resources and projects progress
  • + Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency
  • + Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities
  • + Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with Accounting team and Operations Manager
  • + Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provides commissioning documentation
  • + Expedite the return of project-specific mark‑ups for as‑built development
  • + Complete project-specific close‑out documentation
  • + Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements
  • + Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions
You will make an impact with these qualifications:

_Basic Qualifications:_

  • + Associate degree
  • + Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
  • + Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • + Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • + Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry
  • + 1+ years of experience managing projects
  • + NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred
  • + Knowledgeable of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations
  • + Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program
  • + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_

  • + Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
  • + 3+ years of technical experience in the fire and life safety industry

The pay range for this position is $75,684 – $129,744 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
