Job summary

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Project Manager (f/m/d) in Budapest, Hungary, to lead clinical trial projects within our Respiratory business line. You will ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality, while coordinating with customers, study teams and innovative clinical technologies.

The role emphasizes planning, documentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in project management, preferably within clinical research, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or a related industry.
• Understanding of clinical trials and the drug development process is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, setup, monitoring, and closeout of clinical trial projects.
• Act as primary client contact, gathering requirements and translating into action plans for internal teams.
• Coordinate activities to deliver studies on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain essential study documentation and project records.
• Oversee the distribution and tracking of study equipment and materials.
• Create and distribute project and study status reports.
• Manage study documentation and data archiving at project completion.
• Set clear expectations with customers and manage commitments throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor study timelines, milestones, and financial performance.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and elevate issues when appropriate.
• Foster collaboration across internal teams, external partners, and customers.
• Lead communications, negotiations, and problem-solving to resolve challenges.
• Track customer issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service.

What you'll be doing
