We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager who will lead large-scale equipment installations for our commercial manufacturing clients across automotive manufacturing facilities, primary metals, industrial process facilities, power generation, and utility projects. This includes overall management for self-perform industrial projects ranging from $1 - $50 MM. The role involves developing and implementing project strategies, plans, and budgets. The Project Manager is responsible for assembling qualified project teams and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

Location

You can be located anywhere in the US, with willingness to travel long-term to client projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Scope Management: Estimate and manage scope changes, scheduling, procurement, oversight, safety, and progress monitoring.
• Performance Monitoring: Track progress with metrics and adjust plans to meet requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards and compliance.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and adopt new technologies.
• Project Oversight: Oversee construction to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Team Leadership: Lead crews and subcontractors, supporting planning, scheduling, logistics, and engineering.
• Contract & Change Management: Manage contracts, oversee changes, and approve documentation.
• Collaboration & Communication: Act as primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance and accurate records.
• Union Relations (if applicable): Assist with jurisdictional disputes and negotiations.
• Safety & Risk Management: Support safety programs and ensure adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing process equipment installation experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in equipment installation.
• Experience managing self-perform industrial projects of at least $1MM.
• Experience leading project teams from contract award to close-out.
• Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel (~70%).

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.

Skills and Attributes

• Thorough knowledge of construction aspects, policies, procedures, standards, and union negotiations.
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
