Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or similar.
• Preferred two years dedicated to heavy highway civil contractor.
• Strong knowledge of estimating strategies and cost control methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and estimate industrial, government, and private projects.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build relationships.
• Analyze plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Assist in preparing critical path job schedules.
• Travel periodically within a 300-mile radius.

Skills

Civil or Construction Engineering degree

Two years experience in heavy highway civil contractor

Understanding of civil grading operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with bidding software

Estimating strategies knowledge
