Job summary

Miracorp is seeking a Project Manager Estimator to oversee remote, multi-project design and construction efforts for government space renovations within existing buildings. You will manage projects from planning through occupancy, focusing on customer satisfaction and timely delivery for assignments over $250,000.

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field and/or seven years of experience in estimating construction projects.
• Superior customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and use independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management of construction projects from the preliminary planning stages through design, construction, commissioning, and building occupancy.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, coordinating, reviewing and approving design, construction and related work.
• Ability to establish a scope of work with a customer, prepare a government estimate using the governments estimating software, managing a project schedule and procuring services, with a government contract specialist, from contractors and architect/engineering firms.
• Acts as the on-site construction manager or inspector for projects performing day-to-day construction management duties.

Position Summary

The Project Manager Estimator position is remote and is responsible for customer satisfaction and overall project management of multiple design and construction projects, including the design and construction of projects and renovation of government space within existing buildings. Assigned projects are those estimated over $250,000.00.
