W3Global is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator for commercial flooring projects in Austin or Houston, TX. This on-site role requires 3-5+ years of flooring experience to estimate bids and manage projects from contract through completion.

The candidate will review drawings, perform take-offs, coordinate submittals, labor, and schedules to ensure on-time, quality delivery across multiple projects. Occasional travel may be required.

Role: Project Manager / Estimator - Commercial Flooring

Location: Austin, TX / Houston, TX

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with 3-5+ years of commercial flooring experience to estimate commercial flooring projects and manage projects from contract through completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full project cycle, including reviewing drawings and specifications, performing take-offs, preparing estimates and bids, coordinating submittals and labor, and ensuring successful project completion.

Experience across tile, stone, carpet, resilient, and wood flooring is highly preferred.

• Strong estimating and project management skills.
• Experience performing flooring take-offs.
• Experience with submittals, labor coordination, scheduling, and project completion.
• Commercial flooring experience with multiple flooring types, including:
  • Tile
  • Stone
  • Carpet
  • Resilient flooring
  • Wood flooring
• Strong vendor, contractor, supplier, and customer coordination skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Austin or Houston, TX.
• Willingness to accommodate occasional short-term travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Experience working with commercial general contractors, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring installation processes and requirements.
• Experience with construction project management or estimating software.
