Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of estimating experience required.

• Proficient in interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Position Title: Estimator Ready to estimate projects that shape communities while building a long-term career with a growing commercial contractor? Join a collaborative team supporting multifamily, student housing, senior living, and commercial flooring projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from approximately $500,000 to $3 million while joining a company that values employee development, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Estimator Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare estimates
• Perform accurate flooring takeoffs and calculate project costs
• Prepare competitive bids and proposals for multifamily and commercial projects
• Review addenda, update estimates, and ensure bids are submitted by deadlines
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, project managers, and general contractors throughout the estimating process
• Participate in project handoff meetings after awarded projects
• Manage multiple estimates and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Estimator Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience in estimating
• Experience using MeasureSquare and/or Bluebeam Revu
• Experience estimating multifamily and commercial flooring projects
• High school diploma
• Flooring estimating experience is preferred
