Job summary

WSB seeks a Graduate Engineer to join a growing team working on municipal and transportation projects across the United States. You will participate in design, coordination, and preparation of plans, with opportunities to lead and manage projects while pursuing PE licensure.

Candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree, FE/EIT status, 3+ years in the field, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. A valid driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• 3+ years of qualified EIT experience and ability to qualify for a PE within 2 years.
• Experience in Municipal engineering or related field preferred.
• Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents; familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic.

What You Will Do

• Play a role in project design and coordination
• Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
• Perform design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation.
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for Municipal projects
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets
• Opportunity to lead multiple work teams, manage projects, identify new projects, formulate an approach to projects, assist with the proposal process, formulate, track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
• 3+ Years of qualified EIT experience and able to qualify for a PE within 2 years
• Experience in Municipal engineering or related field is preferred
• Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, specifically, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
