Overview

Electrical Project Manager (Non-Union) – Commercial & Industrial Projects | New Jersey

We are partnered with a growing, non-union electrical contractor in Central New Jersey with a strong reputation across commercial and industrial work. They are looking to bring on an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects and keep things moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical construction projects across the Central & Northern New Jersey areas, averaging $100K – $3M
• Oversee projects from kickoff through closeout
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and billing
• Work directly with field teams, clients, and general contractors
• Ensure projects stay on time, on budget, and run smoothly
• Review plans/specs and proactively solve issues before they become problems
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat clients and partners

Qualifications

• Five- ten plus (5–10+) years of experience in electrical project management
• Background with a commercial or industrial electrical contractor (non-union experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of NJ construction practices and fast-paced project environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects without losing control of details
• Experience with job costing, budgeting, and scheduling
• Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar
• Accountable, responsive, and comfortable working in a non-union setting
