Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners is seeking a Project Manager for Earthwork & Utilities in Woodinvile, WA. You will lead projects from award through closeout, ensuring on-schedule delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.

The role requires at least 5 years of civil construction project management, strong budgeting and cost-control skills, and excellent leadership. Proficiency with MS Office and experience with HCSS and Vista Viewpoint are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years managing earthwork and utility construction projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, budgeting and cost controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communicator with strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob and Vista Viewpoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage earthwork and utility projects from post-award handoff through final closeout.
• Review and negotiate contract scopes, ensuring clarity and alignment with objectives.
• Establish budgets and coordinate cost tracking.
• Monitor financials and control costs throughout lifecycle.
• Solicit, evaluate, and award subcontractor bids; procure materials.
• Review daily reports and timecards for accuracy and productivity.
• Coordinate field operations and address scope changes or site conditions.
• Prepare pricing for scope changes and submit change orders.
• Submit client billings and track receivables.

They’re looking for a Project Managerto take charge of projects from award to completion, ensuring work is on schedule, within budget, and exceeds client expectations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working closely with field teams, and takes full ownership of project outcomes. Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage earthwork and utility projects from post-award handoff through final closeout.
• Review and negotiate contract scopes, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Establish project budgets and coordinate cost tracking with accounting.
• Monitor project financials and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Solicit, evaluate, and award subcontractor bids as required.
• Procure project materials.
• Review and approve daily reports and timecards for accuracy and productivity.
• Coordinate field operations and address scope changes or site conditions.
