Volunteer: Project Manager, Donor Relations - This is a remote role (within the US)

WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Project Manager, Donor Relations (~3 hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills and learn new skills while helping strengthen American Democracy.

About Us

WeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. WeVote is a movement of over 120 passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) building open-source mobile technologies that mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. Our goal is to provide a complete voting experience in 8 minutes, including our app "WeVote Ballot Guide, @WeVote." More information is at https://WeVote.US. We are a 100% remote organization.

What You’ll Do

1. Run weekly Agile meetings for the Donor Relations team
2. Learn onboarding tasks for the Donor Relations team
3. Facilitate communication within the team and with other WeVote teams, including Marketing Strategy, Social Media, Newsletter, Analytics & Ads, Research, Internship Program, and Recruiting
4. Work with team members to find tasks matching their skill levels
5. Review work products and propose strategies for efficiency improvements
6. Support and track all team members' OKRs and Key Results, and train those unfamiliar with OKRs
7. Follow up with contributors on deadlines, adjust schedules, and communicate changes
8. Provide brief reports on project status via meetings, email, and our newsletter

Who you are: Must haves

• Availability of at least 1-2 hours weekly during core team hours (M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your time zone)
• Desire to work with an established team and commitment to strengthening American Democracy
• Striving for personal excellence
• Willingness to support other volunteers
• Located in the US and able to work overlapping hours with US PT

Not Required, But Nice To Have

• More than 2 hours of weekly availability for additional involvement
