Job summary

Jobot and our client seek a Project Manager (Developer - Hybrid) to guide multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects in the Minneapolis area. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and quality from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with development, design, and construction teams in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with PM software such as Procore or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, CE, Arch, Real Estate Dev or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years PM experience in commercial construction/real estate development.
• Experience managing projects for a developer or owner preferred.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects with budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of development process and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects from concept through completion and closeout.

• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and budgets.

Job Details

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction, real estate development, or design-build environments.
• Experience managing projects on behalf of a developer or owner is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of the complete development process, including preconstruction, permitting, design coordination, procurement, construction, and project closeout.
• Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, municipalities, and ownership teams.
• Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and project budgets.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, contract administration, risk management, and change order management.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Ability to travel periodically to project sites as needed.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently within a hybrid work environment.
• Commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
