Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own projects from preconstruction through completion on a diverse portfolio including healthcare, K-12 education, and judicial facilities. You will manage schedules, costs, contracts, documentation, quality, and safety while coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, with strong reading of drawings and specs and proficiency in Procore, P6,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience with healthcare, K-12 education, judicial facilities, or similar projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, cost projections, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of owner contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, billing procedures, and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of claims, notifications, insurance requirements, and changes in scope.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, contracts, documentation, quality, and safety.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review designs, support estimating efforts, and help develop bid and GMP documents.
• Ensure project schedules are met, including long-lead items and pull planning.
• Monitor costs and financial performance of projects.

Job Details

• 5+ years of construction Project Management experience preferred.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience with healthcare, K-12 education, judicial facilities, or similar commercial projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, cost projections, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of owner contracts and subcontract agreements, including scope, terms, responsibilities, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, billing procedures, and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of claims, notifications, insurance requirements, and changes in scope.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, P6, Procore, iAuditor, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams and subcontractors accountable.
• Ability to maintain a consistent presence at the assigned workplace and on active project sites.
• Valid driver's license required.
