Job summary

Musco Lighting in Oskaloosa, IA seeks a Project Manager for Dev Sales to lead project communications and execution after a Purchase Order is issued. You will support pre‑sale visits, develop scopes of work, evaluate RFQs, coordinate delivery, and supervise installation and commissioning across sites.

Ideal candidates hold a construction management background, can interpret plans, and manage multiple projects with 60–70% overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred; related work experience also considered.
• Working knowledge of communication networks.
• Must be willing to travel globally, with weekly overnight stays 2–4 nights and 130–150 travel days per year.
• Ability to interpret and understand project specifications, construction and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of construction processes and practices.
• Excellent technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Computer‑oriented; proficiency in Word and Excel required, basic AutoCAD skills beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead point of contact for internal and external communications and processes once the Purchase Order is received.
• Assist the sales representative with pre‑sale site visits as needed.
• Develop Musco’s scope of work.
• Create and evaluate RFQs for subcontractors.
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and installation of Musco projects.
• Process change orders and communicate to the Musco Team.
• Manage on‑site installation.
• Commission lighting systems to verify installation and operation.
• Provide customer training on system controls.
• Ensure final inspections are completed and provide customers with a project close‑out report.
• Approve payment of invoices and notify Crediting Department for final billing.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Other duties as assigned.
