Job summary

The Fordy Group is seeking a Project Manager for Design-Build Construction located in Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC. You will own the complete delivery of diverse projects, coordinating design, procurement, schedules and safety while traveling to US job sites as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project management within food processing/industrial sectors, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office, Procore and Bluebeam. A bachelor’s degree in CM or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
• At least 3 years in food processing, food distribution, cold storage and/or industrial manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with Bluebeam and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Own full delivery of projects from start to finish, with regular travel to job sites across the US.
• Procure, administer and enforce subcontracts; manage change orders and risk; maintain documentation and safety.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; review subcontractor pay apps; produce monthly cost reports.
• Build and update project schedules; review subcontractors' look-ahead schedules; manage milestones.
• Coordinate design management, preconstruction proposals, permits and owner expectations.
