Job description

We are looking for an outstanding Project Manager to lead complex, high-profile design & build projects from pre-construction through final delivery.

This is not simply a coordination role. You will own your projects, drive decisions, anticipate problems, challenge teams when needed, and make sure ambitious designs become exceptional built environments on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working at the intersection of design, construction, fabrication and installation, you will be the key link between our clients, design teams, contractors, suppliers and D&P's specialist fabrication teams.

What you'll own

• Lead the project end-to-end

Take full ownership of assigned projects from pre-construction and design development through fabrication, construction, installation and closeout.

Work closely with architects, engineers and consultants to challenge designs, identify constructability issues early and turn creative intent into practical, buildable solutions.

• Own budget, schedule and performance

Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules and milestones. Anticipate risks, protect margins and take action before issues impact delivery.

• Lead the project ecosystem

Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams. Create clarity, maintain momentum and ensure everyone is working toward the same objectives.

• Connect construction and exhibit fabrication

Coordinate site activities with D&P's fabrication and installation teams, ensuring seamless integration between the building, exhibits and specialist elements.

Oversee subcontractor and supplier scopes, contracts, change orders and cost control while protecting project quality, schedule and financial performance.

• Be the client's trusted partner

Build strong client relationships, communicate clearly and proactively, and provide confidence throughout the project including when difficult decisions need to be made.

• Solve problems

Identify and resolve design conflicts, construction challenges, scope changes, delays and unforeseen site conditions quickly and pragmatically.

• Set the standard for execution

Drive quality, safety and accountability across the project and ensure that what is delivered reflects both the design ambition and D&P's standards.

• Control project information

Use Procore as the core project-management platform for RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, meeting records, documentation and reporting.

• Deliver the finish

Lead punch lists, inspections, testing, commissioning and final documentation through successful handover and closeout.

The person we're looking for

We are looking for someone who combines strong construction knowledge with exceptional project leadership.

You are comfortable taking responsibility for complex projects, managing multiple stakeholders and making decisions in demanding environments. You understand both the technical and commercial sides of project delivery, and you know how to bring design, construction and specialist fabrication teams together.

You are structured without being bureaucratic, commercially sharp, solutions-oriented and comfortable challenging people when necessary.

Experience in museum, exhibition, cultural, experiential, high-end fit-out or other complex bespoke construction environments would be particularly valuable.
