Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking a seasoned project manager with deep experience in mainframe environments. The role involves developing and maintaining COBOL-based applications, designing JCL batch jobs, and working with DB2 databases for storage and performance tuning.

The candidate will also develop and support CICS online programs and manage VSAM files for data handling, while analyzing business requirements to provide techno-functional solutions within a mainframe context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, and DB2 in production settings.
• Experience with CICS online programs and VSAM data files.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and production support workflows.
• Domain knowledge in Fund Accounting or Security Lending is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead mainframe projects and coordinate COBOL/JCL/DB2 tasks.
• Design, optimize, and maintain batch jobs with JCL for scheduling.
• Ensure timely production support and adherence to ITSM processes.

Job Details:

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL to support business processes.

• Develop and support CICS online programs for Realtime transaction processing.
• Handle VSAM files for data storage, access, and file management operations.
