Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Project Manager to lead the installation and commissioning of Temperature Controls systems across data center, commercial, industrial, and other projects. You’ll oversee all phases of BAS/BMS project execution—from engineering and programming to installation and closeout—ensuring on‑time delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires travel and flexible hours, with a focus on strong client relations and technical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Interest in managing HVAC, BAS or control system installations.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Willing to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
• Regular attendance and reliability in shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute control system implementation plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, programmers and installers.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders and field surveys.
• Support troubleshooting and commissioning efforts.
• Ensure projects meet budget and schedule targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
