Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. seeks a Project Manager to lead the installation and commissioning of Temperature Controls systems across data center, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will oversee engineering, programming, installation and closeout to ensure on-time, within-scope, on-budget delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams, maintain client relationships, and coordinate documentation, RFIs, changes, and field surveys, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Interest in managing HVAC, BAS, BMS or control system installations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute control system implementation plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, programmers, and installers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and field surveys.
• Support technical troubleshooting and commissioning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with budget and schedule targets.
• Other duties as assigned
