Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for an established specialty façade contractor serving the New York metropolitan area. The role covers engineering coordination, procurement, fabrication, installation, budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and project closeout on curtain wall, window wall, and other building envelope systems on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform both office-based and field-based work.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project from post-award handoff through final closeout.
• Coordinate project engineering, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and related project documentation.
• Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain submittal logs, RFI logs, transmittal logs, and other project records.
• Solicit and review proposals from vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate material procurement.
• Coordinate fabrication, deliveries, and installation activities.
• Attend project meetings with owners, architects, consultants, construction managers, and general contractors.
• Coordinate project activities with field superintendents and installation crews.
• Review field dimensions, site conditions, and installation requirements.
• Prepare and track project schedules and milestone dates.
• Create and manage project budget, change order requests, and job cost tracking.
• Review and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices.
• Assist the accounting department with monthly requisitions and project billing.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Support punch list completion, closeout documentation, warranties, and final turnover.

The company provides engineering, fabrication, and installation services for curtain wall, window wall, windows, doors, architectural metals, and other building envelope systems on commercial construction projects.

This position offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of project delivery, including engineering coordination, procurement, fabrication, installation, budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and project closeout.

About The Role

About the Candidate

• Experience in commercial construction project management required.
• Experience with curtain wall, window wall, glazing, architectural metals, building envelope systems, or related commercial construction trades preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to perform both office-based and field-based work.
