Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex steel and construction projects from scope through final delivery, with a team that relies on your direction.

You will own end-to-end project management, guide a dedicated team, manage client relationships, and contribute to proposals and reports. The role features a hybrid work arrangement from Tempe, AZ, reflecting the company’s collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years in lead drafting/detailing roles (Project Coordinator, Lead Modeler, or Checker).
• Proven track record managing budgets, client relationships, and project teams.
• Certificate or diploma in civil or structural drafting/detailing, engineering, or similar.
• Training in 3D modeling software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
• Primavera or Microsoft Project proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear project scope and lead your team with defined expectations.
• Deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and to high quality standards.
• Track schedule and costs, identifying risks and coordinating with production for hours and resources.
• Identify and submit change orders on time.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure invoices are issued and paid promptly.
• Resolve scope, cost, and schedule issues while maintaining client confidence.
• Support production teams across every phase of the project.
