What You’ll Do
- Lead mentor and develop technicians inspectors and field personnel while fostering a culture of safety accountability and excellence
- Manage multiple construction materials testing and special inspection projects from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate staffing scheduling workload distribution and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery
- Partner with clients contractors and project stakeholders to provide responsive service and trusted technical solutions
- Review and approve testing reports inspection documentation and project deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor project budgets billing profitability and financial performance
- Prepare scopes proposals and cost estimates to support new business opportunities
- Resolve project challenges quickly and effectively while maintaining client confidence and project momentum
- Champion Atlas Safety Culture by ensuring compliance with PPE requirements safety protocols and company initiatives

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Construction Materials Testing Special Inspections Heavy Civil Construction Geotechnical Engineering or related field services
- Prior experience leading teams coordinating field operations or managing projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials testing procedures and industry standards including ASTM ACI AASHTO and CDOT requirements
- Ability to interpret construction plans specifications geotechnical reports and technical documents
- Strong organizational communication and problem solving skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Valid drivers license with the ability to support field operations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Construction Management or related discipline
- Professional Engineer PE license or active progression toward licensure
- Experience managing heavy civil transportation roadway bridge waterwastewater or vertical construction projects
- Existing relationships within the Colorado construction and engineering market
