Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of construction projects in Randburg, Gauteng. You will lead planning, budgeting, and execution to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, strong leadership and client-relations skills, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6. Safety, compliance, and effective communication are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record delivering commercial or residential construction from inception to closeout.
• Strong understanding of methodologies, contract management, and financial oversight.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a leading developer and construction firm, is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting construction projects in Randburg, Gauteng . This critical role requires a leader with a comprehensive understanding of all phases of the construction process, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships. • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Professional registration (e.g., Pr. CM, Pr. Eng) is a significant advantage.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Randburg area.
