Job summary

ARCO National Holdings seeks a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion in the New York area. You will coordinate estimating, design review, scheduling, budgeting, and buyouts while partnering with owners and design teams to develop concepts and drive value engineering.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred
  • Advanced Technology, Food & Beverage, Multifamily, Life Science and/or Data Center project experience
  • Estimating experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
  • Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
  • Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
  • Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
  • Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
  • Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
  • Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
