Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is seeking a Project Manager to join County Prestress in Whitestown, Indiana. You will lead concrete formwork and structural projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with general contractors, clients, and project teams.

The role requires reading drawings, strong communication, and a solid understanding of safety and project lifecycles. OSHA 30 and proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction project management experience (concrete, formwork, or structural preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety, and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
• Experience with concrete formwork systems, shoring, and structural builds.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Outlook).
• OSHA 30 certification (required or must be obtained within the first year).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of concrete formwork, shoring, and structural projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost controls, and reporting.
• Oversee project estimating, scheduling, and installation phases.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and audits for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Review shoring systems, rebar placement, and post-tensioning installations.
• Monitor adherence to OSHA safety standards and best practices.
• Interpret and review structural and architectural drawings.
• Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, and design teams.
• Coordinate and finalize precast and shop drawings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Lead scope reviews, design meetings, and client presentations.
• Professionally manage conflict resolution and contract negotiations.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance.
• Negotiate and administer contracts, subcontractors, and vendor agreements.
• Oversee change orders and ensure timely execution.
• Mentor, coach, and develop project teams.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
