Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners in Bellevue, WA seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multiple self-storage and industrial projects nationwide. You will lead ground-up commercial construction efforts, coordinate with the development team and partners, and ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance.

The role requires extensive site leadership, strong coordination with contractors, and travel to project sites several times per month.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of construction management experience with 3+ years overseeing ground-up commercial developments.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project execution.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, schedules, and project teams.
• Familiarity with Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites several times per month.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities from preconstruction through project completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contractors, and overall progress.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and other project partners.
• Review construction plans, proposals, and project documentation.

Our client, a commercial real estate development and investment firm, is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multiple self-storage and industrial construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate would have experience working with ground-up construction and with a general contractor. This role is very similar to a Project Manager with general contractor.

This role will work closely with the development team and external partners to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing ground-up commercial construction and strong skills in project coordination, budgeting, and contractor management.
