Edison Foard, a Charlotte-based commercial general contractor, is seeking a full-time Project Manager with supervisory experience to oversee complex projects and maintain strong client relationships. You will manage 2-4 projects annually with values ranging from $15M to $40M+ and coordinate project teams including clients, architects, superintendents, and subcontractors.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent certification, and 10+

Company Overview:

Edison Foard is an 86-year-old Charlotte-based commercial general contractor. We are seeking to hire a fulltime, Project Manager with experience at a supervisory level with the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining a positive client/contractor relationship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-4 projects concurrently with values of $15 - $40 M+ annually
• Manage the project financials and job budgets & profitability while delivering a quality project
• Lead the project team – client, architect, superintendent, subcontractors, vendors
• Manage schedules, submittals, RFIs & financial reporting, subcontracts, COs, POs, etc. – Managing overall project document control
• Plan and coordinate construction activities
• Evaluate risk

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, preferred, or degreed in a related field or applicable certification or minimum 10+ years commercial general construction experience.
• Ground up experience a plus
• Public and private client experience
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and contracts
• Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, Project, Procore, Bluebeam
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt and follow EF established processes
• Commitment to working as an Edison Foard team member with strong client focus
• Ability to communicate and plan with engineers, architects and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel a plus
• Experience with multiple delivery methods
