International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This hands-on role requires coordinating with field leadership and self-perform crews to manage schedule, cost, quality, safety, and overall execution.

You will lead multiple projects, manage budgets and forecasts, prepare submittals, and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project management required; 5+ years preferred.
• Commercial construction experience required; onsite role.
• Experience managing budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Procore and Excel proficiency; Tekla and Bluebeam a plus.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Willingness to work primarily onsite at the project location.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on, project-based position working closely with field leadership and self-perform crews to manage schedule, cost, quality, safety, and overall project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction/startup through final closeout
• Own project budgets, cost forecasting, productivity tracking, and financial performance

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and project documentation
• Experience with Procore and Excel; Tekla and Bluebeam experience is a plus
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience
• Must be comfortable working primarily onsite from the project location
