Lucid Search Group is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up and tenant improvement projects for retail and grocery brands in the Bay Area. You will run multiple projects from kickoff to closeout, manage budgets, schedules, and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years as PM at a commercial GC, proficiency with Procore or MS Project, strong communication, and willingness to travel with per diem. Base salary is $120K-$160K with a year-end bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Project Manager at a commercial general contractor.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, estimating, and materials.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or MS Project, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites, with per diem provided.

Responsabilités

• Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Handle permits and keep every job compliant with code and regulations.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and superintendents.
• Lead field teams and subcontractors, and uphold quality and safety.
• Provide clear, regular progress reports to owners and leadership.

About the company

Our client is a commercial general contractor with nearly 20 years in the business, building nationwide for well-known retail and grocery brands. Our portfolio includes grocery stores, retail centers, industrial buildings, and office projects. We're growing our Bay Area team and want an experienced PM to run projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What you'll do

• Run multiple commercial projects, both ground-up and tenant improvement, from kickoff to closeout.
• Buy out the work and negotiate subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Handle permits and keep every job compliant with code and regulations.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and superintendents.
• Lead field teams and subcontractors, and hold the line on quality and safety.
• Keep owners and leadership up to date with clear, regular progress reports.

What you bring
