Job summary

Allegiance Group in Atlanta is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Construction to own projects from award through warranty. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget and client relationships, with a voice at the leadership table and a path toward equity as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a PM on $2M–$20M+ commercial projects.
• Experience with job cost reports and pay apps.
• AIA contracts experience is a plus.

Project Manager: Commercial Construction

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 + bonus

Tired of being one of fifty PMs at a big firm? This is your chance to run the whole job, have a voice at the leadership table and build toward equity with a contractor on the way up.

The client

This is working for a fast growing Atlanta general contractor with the know how of a national builder and the speed of a boutique firm. They build healthcare, industrial, commercial and retail projects, and they’re expanding into government and institutional work through hard bid, CM at Risk and task order contracts. That means bigger and more complex projects for the people who join now.

The role

• Run your projects end to end, from contract award to warranty. Scope, schedule, budget and the client relationship are yours.
• Lead buyout, manage change orders, prepare monthly pay apps and keep cost-to-complete forecasts accurate
• Build the master schedule with your Superintendent: they run the field, you run the business
• Be the trusted point of contact for owners, architects and trade partners
• Develop the Project Engineers and Assistant PMs on your team

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years as a PM on $2M–$20M+ commercial projects
• A strong grip on the numbers: job cost reports, pay apps and AIA contracts
• Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or P6, and Excel
• Nice to have would be experience with: Government, K-12, higher education or healthcare clients, TOC/JOC/IDIQ experience, and PMP, LEED AP or OSHA 30 are a plus
