Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel, an EMCOR Group company located in Cincinnati, seeks a Project Manager Co-Op to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and service projects. This hands-on role provides exposure to scheduling, project administration, MEP systems, documentation, estimating, procurement, and client communication.

You will collaborate with project managers and field teams to gain practical experience while contributing to project delivery and operational success, including

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Construction Management, Engineering, PM, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, organizing, and coordinating construction and service projects from initiation through closeout.
• Maintain project documentation—submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting notes, and closeout documents.
• Track schedules, milestones, budgets, and progress to keep projects on time and within scope.
• Coordinate with field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to support execution and communication.
• Help procure materials and equipment by tracking orders and deliveries.
• Attend project meetings and site visits to learn operations, safety practices, and client interactions.
• Review project records for accuracy and compliance with standards and contracts.
• Utilize project management software and Microsoft 365 tools to manage information and reports.
