Job summary

Sectra, a market leader in medical IT and secure communications, seeks a Project Manager to join the Global Cloud team in North America to plan, execute, and oversee cloud deployments.

You will collaborate with international colleagues, manage schedules and budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure quality and stakeholder communication as part of the digital transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 3–5 years IT or project coordination/management experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.
• PMP certification or formal PM training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define objectives, scope, and deliverables for cloud deployments.
• Develop and maintain project schedules for timely cloud delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for effective allocation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

About The Position

Sectra is in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Global Cloud team. This individual will collaborate with our international colleagues headquartered in Sweden and help lead our cloud initiatives in North America.

In this role, you will play a key part in planning, executing, and overseeing cloud deployment projects, contributing to the success of our organization’s digital transformation efforts.

As a Project Manager for Cloud Operations, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for cloud deployments
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of cloud solutions while mitigating potential roadblocks
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure effective resource allocation
• Proactively identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report variances to ensure financial targets are met
• Facilitate clear, concise communication among project teams, stakeholders, and management with regular status updates
• Ensure the quality of cloud deployments by tracking performance benchmarks and user satisfaction
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and key project records
• Address project issues and challenges promptly and collaboratively
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices
• Engage in technical discussions with internal teams and customers to align project goals and execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of experience in IT or project coordination/management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus
• Desire to grow and advance in project management
• PMP certification or formal training in project management is a plus

Other Information:

• The salary range for this position is $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and qualifications
• We are recruiting on a rolling basis, and the ideal candidate will start as soon as possible
