Job summary

Sectra is seeking a Project Manager for Cloud Operations to join the Global Cloud team and drive cloud deployments across North America. You will plan, execute, and oversee cloud projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with digital transformation goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of IT or project coordination/management experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Desire to grow and advance in project management.
  • PMP certification or formal training in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for cloud deployments.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of cloud solutions while mitigating roadblocks.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for effective allocation.
  • Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and report variances.
  • Facilitate clear, concise communication among project teams, stakeholders, and management with regular status updates.
  • Ensure the quality of cloud deployments by tracking performance benchmarks and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and key project records.
  • Address project issues and challenges promptly and collaboratively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
  • Engage in technical discussions with internal teams and customers to align project goals and execution.

About the Position

Sectra is in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Global Cloud team. This individual will collaborate with our international colleagues headquartered in Sweden and help lead our cloud initiatives in North America.


In this role, you will play a key part in planning, executing, and overseeing cloud deployment projects, contributing to the success of our organization's digital transformation efforts.



As a Project Manager for Cloud Operations, you will:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for cloud deployments

Other Information:


  • The salary range for this position is $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and qualifications

  • We are recruiting on a rolling basis, and the ideal candidate will start as soon as possible
