Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Project Manager - Civil Engineer specializing in water and wastewater to lead municipal and private sector projects across the Southeast. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and regulators, and drive project success from design through delivery.

The role requires PE licensure and a track record of managing complex programs, with strong technical knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD/SewerCAD, and InfoWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• PE license required
• 58 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater project design/management
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office applications
• InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater (Innovyze) preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple large/complex projects simultaneously
• Experience leading and developing project teams
• Understanding of project management: scope, schedule, budget control
• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Vision or Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a client-focused approach
• Experience working in the southeastern United States preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage water and wastewater infrastructure and process design projects for municipal and private sector clients
