Job description

We are seeking a Project Manager for our growing Savannah, GA office.

This position will be responsible for designing and producing plans for a wide range of land development projects including commercial sites, subdivisions, apartment buildings, roads, and more. The position will be the main contact for a group of clients and will ensure that the company’s high standards are met, and clients are satisfied with our service.

The Civil Engineering PM will be responsible for the following:

1. Complete projects to meet and exceed quarterly goals and metrics
2. Recommend efficiencies in the production process to Director of Civil Engineering
3. Keep weekly task lists for work to be accomplished
4. Develop new clients in the target market area
5. Understand Company Systems and ensure compliance
6. Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments
7. Plan, schedule, or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple projects
8. Routinely interact with clients, authorities, contractors, and subcontractors
9. Create proposals
10. Engage in subcontractor agreements
11. Create project schedule with key permits and track status
12. Lead project meetings
13. Communicate weekly with clients on progress
14. Oversee progress of projects

These responsibilities allow the job to have a combination of work inside the office and outside the office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Land development
• Water and sewer projects

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
• Professional Engineer's License (P.E.) required.
• Ten plus years’ experience in engineering land development design (preferred)
• Proficient with AutoCAD (required); AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a plus (1 year preferred)
• Self-motivated
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
