How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead site civil engineering efforts across projects ranging from initial concept through construction and closeout.
- Design and oversee site layout, grading, stormwater/drainage, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control .
- Develop stormwater management designs and technical reports and perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses .
- Prepare and support SWPPPs and other site-development documentation.
- Manage civil engineering workflows, schedules, deliverables, and quality standards across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with clients, multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, government agencies, permitting authorities, and local officials.
- Guide projects through site permitting, as-built documentation, platting, and closeout.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of civil plans, calculations, and reports.
- Support the continued development of a growing site civil team while maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
Do You Have the Expertise to Lead in Site Civil Engineering and Project Delivery?
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , or substantial civil engineering experience supported by a bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of site civil engineering experience across a variety of project types.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license .
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D .
- Demonstrated experience with stormwater system design, hydrology/hydraulics, drainage analysis, and technical reporting .
- Strong understanding of grading, site layout, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and site-development requirements.
- Ability to independently make sound engineering and design decisions.
- Experience coordinating projects with clients, permitting authorities, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to balance technical quality, schedules, and multiple project priorities.
- Ability to travel as needed for projects, client meetings, and company activities.
