Job summary

Ora Apps Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Banking & Capital Markets domain expertise to lead complex initiatives.

The role requires 6–7 years of PM experience, resourcing, scheduling with Gantt charts, and effective stakeholder communication to drive delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will navigate SAFe / Agile environments or traditional waterfall, run scrum meetings when needed, and deliver executive status reports using PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications

• Total industry experience of about 10 years.
• Project Management experience of 6-7 years.
• Solid experience of financial services industry, primarily investment banking with understanding of trading life cycle.
• Experience in finance and accounting space is good to have.
• Knowledge and Experience with SAFe Agile and if that’s not available, basic agile experience, particularly running scrum meetings is preferred.
• Experience in managing testing and UAT – more as a project manager rather than a testing analyst.
• Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile methods of delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem solving skills, managing and forming relationships with project sponsors, ability to work by creating influence rather than direct management and ability to deliver project under tight timelines including being able to take pressure.
• Experience in writing executive level status reports, strong powerpoint and excel skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects within Banking & Capital Markets.
• Develop and maintain project plans, dependencies, milestones, and progress tracking with Gantt charts.
• Coordinate testing and UAT activities from PM perspective.
• Prepare executive status reports and ensure timely communication.
• Facilitate Scrum meetings if Agile environment; otherwise manage waterfall delivery.
