Job summary

A financial consulting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager with an IT background for a role focused on Investment Banking products. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in software development and project management, preferably within the banking sector. Expertise in Leverage Finance and Structured finance is critical. This role requires excellent coordination skills and a solid understanding of banking and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development and implementation projects.
• Experience working up to project management in the banking sector.
• University graduate in computer science, engineering, or physics preferred.

BACKGROUND

(project manager - from IT background - knowledge of finance - GDF - credit risk)

• 10+ Years experience in software development and implementation projects, working the way up to project management, developed preferably in, but not limited to, the banking sector.
• University graduate, preferably from a technical background (but not limited), for example: computer science, engineering, physics.

SKILLS

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and IT functions
• Knowledge of functional and technical architecture
• Basic knowledge of operational risk management, data management and information security management
• Knowledge of banking, specifically CIB and preferably Global Debt Financing products and Credit Risk Management
• Ability to understand requirements from business stakeholders, ask questions to extract the desired functionality.
• MS Office practitioner, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Excellent coordination skills: self-starter, proactive attitude towards tracking and reporting project activities.
