Job summary

Audio Video Excellence in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Project Manager (AV, Lighting, Shading, Control) to lead AV/LV projects on construction sites. You will manage proposals, scopes, engineering docs, timelines, and coordination with clients, staff, and GC teams.

You must have AV/LV PM experience on construction sites, knowledge of the built environment, and a steady work history with high EQ. This is a full-time on-site role with regular hours in Scottsdale.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV.
• Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
• Stable work history (3 years between hops), good disposition and high EQ.

Responsibilities

• Receive complete proposals and scope; understand, deliver, troubleshoot as needed.
• Help create engineering docs for new construction projects.
• Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines and resources.
• Monitor profitability by tracking hours against budget.
• Coordinate work orders and communicate with the team and third parties.
• Read and interpret plan sets/blueprints; ensure work meets SOW and company standards.
• Create and manage change orders through approval and payment.
• Work on construction sites with situational awareness.

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 / year

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV. Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Location:

• Our Office: 7500 E Pinnacle Peak Rd Suite H-121, Scottsdale, AZ 85255
• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) - We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri: 7:30am-4:30pm

Your Contribution to Audio Video Excellence:

• Primary Point of Contact: Client, In-House Staff, Other Trades, GC, Architect, Rep
• Scope of Work: Receive complete proposals and scope; understand, deliver, troubleshoot as needed
• Engineering Documents: Help create engineering docs for new construction projects
• Project Timeline/Scheduling: Planning, Proactive, Aligned to Resources
• Project Profitability: Keep actual hours at/below budgeted hours, remove redundancy and errors
• Work Orders: Issue to team, coordinate with third parties
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, Client Expectations
• Plan sets/Blueprints: Read, interpret, manifest, mark‑up, distribute to team
• Change Orders: Create, submit, get approval, confirm payment, execute
• Environment: Work on construction sites with situational awareness
