Job summary

HEDSouth: Home Entertainment Design South in Hollywood, FL is seeking a hands-on Project Manager for AV/LV installations. You will coordinate on-site teams, read plans, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

You bring 3 years of PM experience on construction sites, strong knowledge of rough/trim/final phases, a steady work history, and high EQ. This is a full-time role with 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, reporting to Robert, VP of Production & Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3 years on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV.
• Knowledge of the built environment and all three implementation phases (Rough/Trim/Final).
• A steady work history with low turnover.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for client, in-house staff, other trades, GC, architect, and rep.
• Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot project needs.
• Plan timelines and schedule resources proactively.
• Monitor project profitability by tracking hours against budget.
• Issue work orders and coordinate with third parties.
• Maintain status updates in Project Management Software (IPoint).

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV. Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

• Our Office: 2010 Thomas St Hollywood, FL 33020
• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm

• Scope of Work: Understand, deliver, troubleshoot as needed
• Project Timeline/Scheduling: Planning, Proactive, Aligned to Resources
• Project Profitability: Keep actual hours at/below budgeted hours, remove redundancy and errors
• Work Orders: Issue to team, coordinate with third parties
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, Client Expectations
• Plan sets/Blueprints: Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, distribute to team
• Change Orders: Create, submit, get approval, confirm payment, execute
• Status updates in Project Management Software (iPoint) at all times.
• Environment: Work on construction sites with situational awareness
