Overview

Working with a Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager, provide administrative and technical direction for one large, complex project or several small and/or medium size projects. Responsibilities include customer interface, client development, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, management, and reporting. Living allowance provided - you can live anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure project is constructed safely, in accordance with design, budget, and schedule, interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, security, etc.
  • Help establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate boundaries. Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned projects.
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures. Authorize project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, change requests, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards. Interpret policies as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining official project logs and documentation files. Support implementation and interpretation of safety programs. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
  • Assist in managing financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining good client relationships.
Qualifications
  • 4-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience
  • Minimum of five years of related commercial construction experience
  • Ability to apply innovative management techniques to maximize employee performance
  • Thorough understanding of industry practices, standards, and their impact on project activities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; business-oriented mindset
