Job summary

GMA Architects, Inc. in St. Louis (Richmond Heights) seeks an Architectural Project Manager or Architect to join our team, offering meaningful responsibilities from day one.

You will produce permit and construction documents, develop designs, review scopes with project managers, provide site planning, and coordinate with engineers and consultants. Licensure is not required, and we support pursuit of licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 5–7 years of experience required, data center project experience preferred.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience required; 3D modeling/rendering preferred.
• Licensure not required; GMA supports pursuit of licensure.
• Please include recent work samples in your application.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction.
• Develop preliminary designs into construction documents.
• Review project scope with construction project managers.
• Provide site and space planning for construction project managers.
• Prepare presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations).
• Review and coordinate construction documents content with PMs and consultants.
• Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with engineers.

We're adding an Architectural Project Manager or Architect to join our team in St. Louis (Richmond Heights). GMA partners with a top ENR design-build firm to provide services including creative design, project management, ADA/code compliance, building assessment and reuse, additions and renovations, historic preservation, master planning, interior design, space planning, structural analysis and design, and construction administration.

A Day in the Life:

• Produce architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction
• Develop preliminary designs into construction documents
• Review project scope with construction project managers
• Provide site and space planning for construction project managers

• Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager and consultants
• Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
• Attend client meetings, and coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers

Necessary Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years of experience required, with data center project experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
