Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a Project Associate in Richmond Heights, MO to support site and space planning for construction project managers. You will review codes, prepare presentation drawings, and coordinate with engineers to produce permit-ready documents.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Architecture, plus experience with AutoCAD and Revit and 3D modeling. Multi-family or commercial/industrial exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Multi-family experience highly preferred. Commercial/light industrial experience preferred
• Ability to develop preliminary designs into construction documents
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Ability to develop presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations)
• 3D modeling/rendering preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide site and space planning for construction project managers
• Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
• Prepare presentation drawings as required
• Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers
• Review project scope with construction project managers
• Produce architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction
• Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager and consultants as it relates to projects

GMA partners with a top ENR design-build firm to provide services including creative design, project management, ADA/code compliance, building assessment and reuse, additions and renovations, historic preservation, master planning, interior design, space planning, structural analysis and design, and construction administration.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Provide site and space planning for construction project managers
• Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
• Prepare presentation drawings as required
• Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
