Job Title:
Project Manager – Architecture

Position Overview:
Majestic Developers, a vertically integrated real estate development firm headquartered in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Project Manager – Architecture. This position reports directly to the Director of Architecture and is responsible for both hands-on drafting/production and the management of architectural projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from concept through completion across diverse types: office, retail, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and more.
• Draft and review construction documents, wall sections, and technical details using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Oversee junior staff while also contributing directly to drawing production.
• Apply knowledge of commercial and wood-frame construction methods.
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, civil, etc.) to ensure accurate, integrated project sets.
• Interpret and apply building codes (IBC, IFC, ADA/TAS, ComCheck, zoning ordinances).
• Manage documents and construction administration in Autodesk Construction Cloud; review RFIs, submittals, and field reports.
• Use Bluebeam for markups, QA/QC, and drawing reviews.
• Support project schedules, budgets, and permitting.
• Participate in client presentations, entitlement hearings, and city/board meetings.
• Mentor junior staff while staying hands-on with technical production.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or related field).
• Strong technical expertise in wall assemblies, detailing, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and ACC experience a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial and wood-frame construction.
• Knowledge of permitting processes, AHJ coordination, and AIA contracts/forms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative.
• On-site role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with local development codes, drainage criteria, and permitting processes
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects
