Job summary

RGS Products, Inc., an architectural railing and metals manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and manage architectural projects.

This full-time, on-site role requires oversight from start to finish, strong communication, and travel to job sites to ensure on-schedule delivery and client satisfaction. The position involves budgeting, scheduling, and collaboration with engineers and senior management.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in project management or related field, with at least one year in leadership.
• Blueprint Reading is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling of the assigned project.
• Supervise progress of the project from start to finish.
• Serve as the liaison for all communications with the client.
• Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and project estimates of products, time, install labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
• Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
• Compare the actual products of the project to estimates.
• Recommend and/or analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
• Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
• Collaborate with project engineers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise.
• Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources, and of subcontract installers.
• Manage and communicate requirements for Change Orders to project team and clients.
• Prepare periodic progress reports for leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
